Therapy

I aim to provide you with ways of solving problems as quickly as possible. This means that for some short term therapy is appropriate and for others longer term work is needed. It is always important to start working on a problem as soon as possible. I offer help when you need it most. I have ten years of experience at using counselling and hypnotherapy. I have added to my training, as an educational psychologist (MSc), with a Diploma in Hypnotherapy. In the last two years I have been working as a bereavement counsellor at Dorothy House.

I have a range of techniques that I use. Normally I use counselling techniques at the beginning of a session. It is usual to end the sessions with a period of relaxation. This enables you to leave the session feeling more settled with the ideas we have discussed more established.

I can make a recording of the relaxation and you can use it between sessions both to keep you calm and to help you to make the changes you want.
